It does give a strong sense of the transition. This might have been a good candidate for a long shutter effect. I like the reflection colors on the left.

It certainly does, Zeph. This is a nice composition too. You have created a nice balance with the bright clouds on the upper left and the dark rocks on the lower right.

Hey Zeph, now that certainly does have a transition feel.

Very nice, and hard to judge without seeing it done, but I am thinking that I like the fact that you did not artificially blur the clouds or water with a longer shutter speed shot. The texture in the water, and the light color and intensity transitions across the frame really make this one work for me.
