Deer Creek morning

I got up early this morning and drove the 30 or so miles to Deer Creek Reservoir. It started snowing about half way there, and while it was not snowing at the destination, it was pretty cloudy. There is a good view of Mt Timpanogos hiding up there in the clouds. Note the ice fishermen next to their huts.

This is a time interval shot with my 5DSR at 4 second intervals. I had my R5 next to it doing in camera time lapse. I may show that another time. They are very simillar other than the R5 is much cleaner and smoother, and also shorter.

I will have to check this out at home Ben, I am up in the hills to run and I don’t have enough reception to play a video.

This started out at iso 3000 and was still so dark I deleted the first hundred frames or so. There is sill a lot of noise in the sky. I shot this at 1/10 second f13 I believe with auto iso so that it would not blow out at the end.

The R5 could be shot at much faster shutter and and since it can re-expose each shot without flicker, starts out brighter with lower iso and keeps a more constant exposure.
