Delicate by nature ...

Some more work in the garden...
The first is a visit from the hoverflies to my spiderwort.. While I like the detail in the image thats in focus my favorite part of this image is the incoming fly (OOF) on the top left coming in for a landing.
The 2nd/3rd image are alittle more abstract, slightly diffrent comps. I was not sure which one I liked better so I decided to post both.
These images are done in natural light shot with a Tamron 9O macro lens
All comments welcome and thanks for viewing eragrds,

The nice details in the first image are captivating. Interesting point of view looking into the middle of the bloom from just above one of the petals. I have to confess that I would not have known what the incoming yellow blob even was without your commentary.

Out of the abstracts the second one (third image) is more interesting for me - there is just a bit more in terms of recognizable shapes in that one but still enough OOF to definitely leave it in abstract territory.

Hey Dean, that first one is really cool. Great work on it. With #2 and 3 I will pick #2 over #3 as I like that only part of the stem is in focus and all of the flower is out of focus. I think the eye gets slightly divided by the 2 points of focus.
