A double dose of double flower Akebono tulips. These fully came out yesterday morning when we had a bright sunny start to the day.
C&C always welcome.

Thanks Trent - I love it when these tuples start their bloom. Much more interesting than the usual single flower/color variants.Beautiful shots Alan. I love the delicate red streaks on the yellow.
Thanks Alan - while there are some deer in the suburb area I live in they tend to stick to the undeveloped creek areas that run through them. Our backyard is fenced as are the yards all around us.Lovely Alan. What were your exposure settings?
No mule or white tail deer in your area? Everyone in my area has given up on tulips unless they are well protected behind a high fence.
Thanks Jim - this is where using a telephoto for shots like this helps since it gives me more room to move around to arrange the shot.I think I got hit on the head and I have double vision now!
Really nice job spotting this as getting two flowers in one shot to look symmetrical is not easy.
Thanks Jameel - I wish we had more exotic tulips like these. They are a real treat during their bloom season.Beautiful flowers. The streaks of red on the yellow makes these stand out.
