Drake Passage - wave action

Not sure where this image is best placed. Not really landscape and wildlife but definitely nature Crossing the Drake Passage can be a serious adventure. The seas here are considered amongst the wildest on the planet. And yet, the wildlife that has adapted to this environment are simply incredible beings. In particular, are birds that travel hundreds or thousands of kilometres in search of food and some like the giant albatross are at sea for months on end. C and C welcome

Hey Alan, this section works, though the Landscape section is technically the Land, Sea and Sky scape section. But we don't get too picky. :)

I love the ocean and watching the waves breaks on the shore or breaking on some rocks. It's amazing to see them just breaking.

Drake Passage has so much history and adventures to it. I am a bit jealous you went. Not sure I would ever get to go, but it sure would be awesome.

This almost looks like it could be a painting. It has the mood and drama seen in paintings. Great job!

Wow. You have captured a truly ominous wave Alan. Not an inviting image for a sea-sick prone land lubber like me.
