I was drinking up the Milky Way a few weeks ago when I was at Cottonwood Pass just a few days after it opened. A few people were there, and a few people drove over the pass, but it was a fraction of the amount of people that I would find the next night up at Independence Pass.
This is a single image with my new Nikon Z6II. Of course I just bought it a few weeks ago and now am upgraded Z6III has been released. Bad timing on my part.

PS. The Viltronix is an awesome lens, and totally worth the money. One of my biggest gripes with mirrorless is that all of the AF lenses have lost their focus scale. The Viltrox 16mm f1.8 has a digital display built into the lens and displays an actual distance number that is reliable. I used it several times to get the Z6II back into focus.
