Dude - Where's My Sunshine?

Crocus blooms only open up when they get some direct sunlight and that was in short supply yesterday. We did get a break in the showers and I wandered out to our backyard for a quick look before the next round of raindrops arrived. The ears poking up in between the flowers is a resin cast cat yard ornament.

Thanks Jim - hard to go wrong with raindrops on the flowers. If we had any sunshine yesterday these blooms would have been open for this shot. The bees weren't out yesterday either with high temps in the 30's.

Those are nice looking blooms. Wouldn't look any better with sunshine without the raindrops. That said, I am with you - need a break from rain and clouds.

Thanks Jameel - we might get some clearing this next week although still on the cool side. I am curious to see the intermittent falls up the Gorge after this much rain/snow up there. Snow levels are well above the tops of the falls up there but there should be some good flows with the smaller falls.
