Dyrholaey Lighthouse

When we first got here I knew I wanted to come back for sunset! But when I first showed back up there wasn't much color it pays to wait!

Interesting - and I was so used to the notion that lighthouses were round. You have framed your sparse color show well for this subject. I like the subtle and realistic processing you have employed.

I always thought being a lighthouse keeper would be great until I saw a report that said it was a difficult and lonely job. So now I would like to just stay in one for a couple months . Excellent shot.

Thanks Jim! I was walking away from the lighthouse and turned around and saw this beautiful ray of color and had to stop!

Yeah I would want a job as a lighthouse keeper either! But they are sure fun to photograph!
