Early Fall at St. Cloud

The area of the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge directly across from Multnomah Falls is called St. Cloud which seems quite appropriate for this panorama taken in October of 2023. Fall colors that year were completely over the top from our usual color shows and kept going strong right into early November. A 2 shot panorama taken with a 70mm lens.

The pano shows off this area well. Here is to a colorful November.
Thanks Jameel - this shot was taken on October. 12 which tells me to go check out where state the colors are in up in the Gorge once the storms clear out on Monday or Tuesday. 2023 was a very unusual year for colors so I can't really use it as an accurate gauge but I need to be checking anyway.

Drone shot or from a road/trail higher up? I luv your panos. You are incentivizing me to do panos as well. Thanks.
Thanks Murali - this is a drone shot from around 350 feet out over the Columbia River. I rotated the drone 180º after several shots of Multnomah Falls. With a drone you need to avoid most of the ground in front of the falls as that is a designated no fly zone so I fly out over the river and use the telephoto lenses to shoot the falls.

How Intetesting for the name. Here I thought you had come to Minnesota as one of the towns us named St Cloud.

A very nice capture of your St Cloud.

Thanks Jim - not quite sure how this part of the Gorge got its name and until reading your comment had no idea there was a St. Cloud in Minnesota. Is there some individual that is considered a saint of clouds? :)
