East Bay Sunrise

Likely my last photo of 2017... I went out this morning to catch sunrise over the East Bay hills in the Sunol Regional Wilderness. I scoped out this spot on a hike yesterday and guessed it could work well in the morning.

I like the mist in the distance - adds a good sense of depth to the image. Very nice sunrise and a nice way to sign off for the calendar year.

Hey Kyle,

I like the zigzag layers leading back to the fog. What a really nice image to end the year on.

But now that has me thinking... I need to get out today or tomorrow and get a last shot in too!

Nice soft light here, the fog/smoke laying down into the valley is a great compliment to the softness of the sunset. Good work!
