couple of shots from a very quick trip to west virginia. i bought a 100s ii and wanted to test it out.

I think it passes your test - beautiful waterfalls. I like the long shutter open swirls in the bottom image.

I like that dappled spot lighting at the bottom in #1 near those rocks, and #2, that's the winner for me. I love it, I mean I love it when the water flowing in a pool of water will do circles!

It looks like the camera will work for you!

thanks jim. we're screwed at work until at least january, depending on what happens this fall.

this place is known for the swirling pools of water under the falls. i only found one, but it was enough. so far, so good with the new camera. it's been out once. i've been asked to take photos at a training incident next tuesday, i'm not sure if i'll use the fuji or the sony.
