Beautiful light in both of these images. You definitely need to be in love with ice and snow in this place - it looks bitterly cold even in what passes as summer down there.

Jim,
Yes both were from the ship. The first was a narrow passage the ships captain was going to navigate through but he decided there was too much ice to do it safely.
A wise decision.
