Evening Colors

We got some interesting atmospherics last night so I sent my drone up to see what kind of view I could get. This time of year to sun angle lets me get some reflections over Vancouver Lake and there was some light fog rolling in to add to the mix. I was hoping for more colors yet as the sun got lower but the opposite occurred and this turned out to be the best one for the lake view. This is a 3 panel panorama using a 70mm lens.

Thanks Jim - I was hoping for a wider view type of sunset colors but went for the telephoto lens when the colors stayed near the horizon. The winter sun angle is nice for sunset views over the lake.

Nice color show Alan. I saw some color developing yesterday here as well but was on the road so missed it.

Thanks Jameel - pretty easy to miss out on shooting the sunset when it happens so early this time of year. The colors were all gone and I was back inside just after 4:30PM.
