Factory butte campground

Here is what my camp setup looked like at factory butte. This was the quietest night I have ever experienced. Not a whisper of wind.

Nice - last time I went through that area the soundtrack was endless 2 cycle ATV engines. I didn't stick around.

I heard that they have banned ATV's from this area.

A nice view to camp from. I am glad it was quiet for you. I had a few cows come visit me, so it wasn't quite so quiet.

Yes, there was cattle all around, but the nearest were a hundred yards or more away and eating quietly. Seemed like a very barren place for grazing too.
