Fall at Maroon Bells

Good foliage colors, Larry. I like the colors reflecting in the lake. Too bad there's no snow on the Bells. Is that from this year?

What a great reminder Larry! I really like this image. But it reminds me of when the water was higher, and it wasn't so difficult to get into it with all of the limited reservations they have now.

So I chose to stop going there. It's certainly beautiful, but now a days the hassle overcomes the beauty. So thanks for sharing this one.

My young family camped at the campground there in 1988 and we were one of only two groups there at the time. I can't get past how easy it was in those days and so it's unlikely I'll try to visit it again.

Hi Jim, if you get up there early it is still easy to find good shots with out a lot of people. The last time I was there, 4 or 5 years ago, you could drive in if you arrived before 9 am, and did not have to take the shuttle!
