For one, with us on the west coast, any fall color besides yellow is extremely exciting! I like the reds in this, and I also think you did a great job with the limited DOF. It's nice that the leaves in the background are out of focus.

true, all I meant was that scrub oak is red and plentiful so we do get lots of red around here.
