If you are into old farming equipment there is an excellent collection at the Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site near Bishop California. The subject of this image is a elderly seed drill that might need a bit of tender loving care if you wanted to restore it to full functionality for your next planting season.

Thanks Jim - I had some somewhat harsh light the day I visited but quite a few shots worked out well anyway. They have some unusual farming devices from the early days of mechanized agricultural machinery.

Nice one Alan. I'm not quite old enough to have used one of those but certainly remember them around the farm yard when I was a boy. Brings back memories.

Thanks Trent - I wasn't around farms as a kid so no recollections of them other than on display as antiques.
