Had the pleasure of spending another few hours at Venus Pools. Here’s a few of my favourites

Canada Goose

Oystercatcher and Chick

Ringed Plover and Little Ringed Plover

Mallard Family

Nice collection of wings. Hard to pick out favorites but the Mallard family is pretty cool. I like the cormorant in flight and the Oystercatchers too.

Those are pretty neat too - we have a very similar member of the plover family called a killdeer in my neck of the woods.

I am liking the Venus pools Danny. They have some great birds to go along with a pretty cool name.

I like the timing of the goose landing. I always am too slow on those. And then I am really liking the Oystercatcher.

It’s a wonderful place and I don’t get to go nearly enough. I’m getting a lot of love for the Marsh Harrier back home. Not for the photo per se but apparently it’s a county rarity that is not often seen round here.

Thank you. I like those too. Was hard to capture them as there was a lot of long grass in front. That was the best of about 30 shots
