This is the last image from last week, so the last of fall and probably the last time this place will be open this season.

Okay Ben, you may have saved the best for last! While this doesn't have color in the sky, you have a real nice set of clouds. But more importantly, the composition is dead on! I like this composition the best of all of yours, all of the elements really line up well. The stand of aspen in the middle with their white bark is a perfect center piece for this image.

I know am guilty of this, but we often seek the early and late colors in the clouds so much that we ignore that early or late light on a location can create an equally well done photo.

Thanks Jim, and you are very correct. I was just thinking that I am getting a bit bored with red sky and mountains and enjoy the recent group of prints I just made that have other elements.

This is a place about 100 feet from my parking place where I hike up the hill. I had one here from spring where the field in front of the aspen were in flower, so I had to check it out. After two seasons, this is the first time I caught color here.

This is probably my favorite too. I really like the comp with the stand of aspens in the middle along with the nice view of the mountains. Really nice. I'd be tempted to darken the blues in the sky to try to get a little more definition in the clouds.

Thanks Kyle, glad you like it, but also good to have it ranked among my other images, a very important thing to know. I will look at darkening the sky.

The color on the ground makes up for the lack of color in the sky. Nice composition of a nice place.

Agree with Kyle about darkening the sky to add some punch.

Very nice. I like this version with it's subtle light and color, but would also play with it if it were mine - increasing contrast and perhaps painting a bit more light onto the yellows that lead up and into the mountains in a nice curve.

Thanks Jamell, looks like this is about unanimous.

This is truly beautiful fall colors.
Thanks Leslie.
