Finally a flower.

I really feel like I'm late to the flower party. Many of you have had flowers for months. Here in Saskatchewan it has finally warmed up and my tiny garden has cooperated.
This Daylily has had blossoms for a few days now.

Do they wait until the igloos melt before blooming?

Oh no.. They grow right up through the igloos. However the yellow pollen falling off is not the reason they say 'Don't eat the yellow snow'.

Very good Trent. I like the rich yellow of the bloom against the dark green of the background, really makes the flower pop out.
