Sitting on the patio with my Mom in the backyard. Weather is beautiful at 74 degrees in Vegas.....lovin life as my ideal place to live would be 80 degrees year round hahah. This is SOOC other than BW conversion. I just thought it was kinda cool looking.

Ha ha, that is better!

Nice work the silhouette and B&W. That's a cool and different look.
Thank you :). This is my fig tree in guess what? The backyard LOL, was sitting on the patio with my mom having a beer watching the dogs play, and the sun went behind this really flat light cloud, looked good from where I was sitting. Actually had my camera out for the Red Tail as he has been flying over all day!

This actually might be more interesting than the finches in normal light and color. When we had bird feeders in Salt Lake City the only birds we saw were either English sparrows, red finches, and starlings.

The red tail knows you are after his portrait and is avoiding you now :D

It's usually my phone that is ready for shots like this but the notion of sitting around outside is not something that happens often in the Pacific NW unless it's summer.

This winter has been awesome in temps here in Vegas, but not so good for snow & rain that is desperately needed down here :(. But I am loving it as I don't do good in cold. T-shirt & jeans today! And the red tail flew over twice, once with another but waaaaay to far up for me to get a shot of. But I now know his favorite tree which is three blocks from my house!
