First focus stack

Sony A7 4 + Sony 90mm macro + 50 images.
Was really fun learning how to do this. Can't wait to try it some more. Took a few days of trial and error but eventually got it.
This bug is a Rainbow Scarab (Phanaeus vindex), a species of dung beetle known for its vibrant, iridescent colors.

A very good start - focus stacking opens an amazing number of doors for what you can do with your camera and what subjects you can expand your horizons with.

That's a very good job Ben. Focus stacking can be used to really open up some insane DoF not normally possible. It can be tricky to use, but it looks like you nailed it!

Focus stacking takes practice, nice start!

Nice work with the focus stack. Especially useful with macro where the normal DoF is so thin.
