I had to look this up on a map since at first I thought you were showing us Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas. Looks interesting and I wouldn't mind seeing more of this place.

Thanks for looking in, Alan. I've been stopping by this place since the 50's (gasp!!). Really cool geology going on here. Layered sandstone and mudstone offer wonderful erosion patterns and colors. And much of the area has a lava cap on top of the inverted cliffs. Great area to explore.

Alan, this is really a kind of small area. And it does have a few cool rock structures, but they are limited, and I can say I have only ever seen perhaps 2 photos from that area that impressed me. It has some limited potential, but it's nothing like what one would see in Utah or New Mexico. And perhaps the reason there are such limited good photos from there is that this place is a small blip on the road as you travel along it? So I would like to see more of this area too, but Barry's shot I think captured 50% of the area...
Okay... just kidding on the 50%, but there isn't in my opinion much more then this.
