Got a recommendation from another photographer to come check out this forum, I like what I see and am glad to be a part. This is an image from a few weeks ago at Smith Rock State Park.

And what a cool introductory photo. Smith Rock is still on my list of places to go shoot. I almost shot it 2 years ago I think. My problem is I have been spending more and more time in Colorado and New Mexico, so that has left less time for Oregon and Washington.

I like your foreground in this. That multicolored rock adds an anchor with interest to balance with the nice Smith Rock shapes and the sky.

Smith Rock is a fun place to shoot. I stopped in there on a weekend a few years back and the cliff faces were pretty much covered in climbers.
