Running more test shots with the Fujifilm GFX 50 SII and the 35-70mm kit lens. This image was made at 70mm at F:11. Image processed in Photoshop.

Here is the same image processed in Capture One Express.

This is the first image I have processed and post using Capture one. It is a new software for me and I am still low on the learning curve, the processing steps are very different from Photoshop which I have been using for years.

I like the edit Larry. What's your decision behind using Capture One instead of Photoshop?

Nice selection of torch lilies. I used to use Capture One quite a number of years ago and you are correct in that the user interface and attendant workflow is quite different from Photoshop. Anyone making that jump needs to be ready to rethink their workflow to be able to take advantage of what Capture One can do.

Thanks Jim: I am just trying Capture One since the express version comes free with the Fujifilm Camera. I like some of the features of Capture one, but
I don't see myself ditching Photoshop and Lightroom, too many years invested in those programs makes it hard to change.

Hi Alan thanks for the comment on the torch lilies. I am only trying Capture One because the Express version came free with my Fujifilm GFX 50 SII camera. I don't think I will be ditching Photoshop and Lightroom anytime soon, but it is fun to check different software from time to time. I like some of the features of Affinity Photo and Gimp just for fun. I really like the B&W function in Affinity Photo.
