The bees really seem to like dahlia blossoms. I captured many shots of bees on dahlia blossoms in the dahlia garden at Hudson Gardens, before the dahlia plot was killed off by the Japanese beatles! I think I will go back through my files and see if I still have some unprocessed raw files of bees on dahlias in my archive.

Thanks Trent the dahlia blossoms do provide a lot of eye-candy by themselves and occasionally get help from bees and grasshoppers!

Thanks Kurt. They have several active bee hives at Hudson Gardens that keeps the flowers happy and pollinated. The hives are also used as part of the garden's education programs. A nice place!
