Freezing bubbles.

In the area where I live it is pretty much always cold enough in the winter to try photographing soap bubbles as they freeze. The main problem is avoiding the wind as it is the enemy of soap bubbles.
In early January I managed to get one sequence before the wind was too strong. Here is a still and a video of my efforts.

Wow - that's kind of wild how it starts to freeze. Do the bubbles ever get to a point of being solid or does the wind always do them under first?

I think you would have to set up some type of container to keep out the wind. It doesn't take much to blow them away. I have thought about making a plastic enclosure but have not done that.

Hey Trent! That's so cool! I liked the video as well.

This is something I would like to do, I saw Alisa has done it as well, I think I need to join in.

Good thing to try while you are in Colorado.
