Apologies for my zoning out and missing last Friday's Focus, I some how had missed the whole day of Friday and went from Thursday straight to Saturday.

Our Focus this Friday is on Landscapes taken in States or Countries (America doesn't count) that start with the letter A.

I had to dig through my archives going back 12 years to a trip I took to Alaska. I had previously only processed 3 photos from that whole trip (don't ask) and so I pulled #4 up and processed it for today. It's from the Shuttle Bus that run's into Denali NP.

Please post your Photos in this thread.

Beautiful image, Jim. Mine is also from Alaska. This shows the detail of the toe of the Marjerie Glacier in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska.

Point Hansbrough, Marble Canyon, Navajo Tribal Park 2017 and of course, that is Grand Canyon National Park in the background.

Back in the Park"

Well, since the province of Alberta in the country of Canada is fair game, let me add this to my offerings. :) Waterton Lakes National Park

Haven't been up to Alaska so Arizona will have to do here for me.

These are all great Alan! Scrolling down I was thinking this was a going to be an Alaska party :) but these are nice scenes to break that up. The Antelope Canyon shot is maybe one of the best using the light beam and sand fall that I have seen. When I have been there I don't recall them doing both at the same time in the same photo. So Congrats on that.

I thought I was going to add some Grand Canyon pics, but as I started searching my hard drive, I came up with...........Africa. Kind of pushing it since it's a continent, not a country.
That first image looks like something that should be in a travel poster.

After Jim declared Alberta to be a country I think having the letter A in the location name seems workable :D
