Frilly is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. I loved the lacy edges and soft flaps.

I always slow down and look when I encounter interesting fungi but have never encountered anything quite as photogenic as what you shot in this instance. Delightful textures.
