From Bavaria

After many years of cycling across Europe in hot, sunny, blue sky weather my last 2 trips have brought lots of cold rain. The former is great for holidays but not photography, the latter the opposite. Despite the huge, threatening clouds it didn't rain this day but it did for the rest of the trip.

I like the lines of the furrows leading up to the lone tree and the nice drama in the clouds with the B&W treatment.

Great shot and excellent conversion to B&W. Of course the wonderful clouds make it. What part of Bavaria? I lived up near Nuremburg for 8 years, but this looks more southern.

Yes Southern Bavaria in the Lech Valley just South of Landsberg. I was cycling from Munich to Schwangau to Wurzburg and back to Munich

Wow Ken! This is one of the best B&W's I have seen in a while! What a sweet view, and such sweeping clouds that along with those rows really pull the viewer into this image.
