Good thing @Marcy's bobcat wasn't around my area when this little guy showed up on my front lawn while I was getting my mail a couple of days ago. The rabbit didn't seem to be in much of a hurry as I was able to go back inside my house and grab my camera with a long lens for this portrait.

Thanks Trent - higher resolution in my current camera and better auto focus has made an amazing difference in what I can do with wildlife imagery. I am having a lot more fun with this setup.

Thanks Alan - this shot came from a Canon R5 MkII with an EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L lens and an EF 2x teleconverter mounted for an 800mm focal length. That elderly lens just got replaced 2 days ago with a new RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L but I will keep the old lens around for the extra range beyond 500mm until I get a 2x teleconverter for the R series lenses.
