I think this is the year I dabble in a bit of BW. So here is another macro shot I took this morning of some frozen bubbles. The temps have been perfect to create these. A bit challenging but fun! CC Welcome!

B&W for my eyes - much better level of detail in the embedded ice crystal structures. That said both are fantastic macro shots.

How fun! This looks so cool. I can't really decide between the two. I like both the color and the B&W. The detail I think is better in the B&W, but the soft blue in the color version is also appealing.

Lovely Alisa... I like the B&W because of the more visible detail. What is your mixture for the bubbles? I have tried this a lot and find most often the wind just blows the bubbles before I can get a picture. I agree it is a really fun thing to do.
