Fun at the Park

I decided to stay closer to home and not run down to one of the beaches tonight, but I wanted to try a new type of Timelapse. With Ben and I doing all of this timelapse mania, I remembered that my GoPro Hero 8 can do timelapse too. It actually can do 2 types of timelapses, a regular timelapse, and one called Timewarp as they call it. But basically it smooths out the images so you can do a timelapse while moving!

So for this one, I simply walked around a local park that I knew even close to sunset would have some people in it to add some movement. There is no special editing, the timelapse or timewarp as GoPro calls it is straight out of the camera except for my adding music and titles. I was amazed and really liked just a quick rough walk around, hopefully you guys like it too.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

GoPro is “The” standard for Action Cameras. Basically they have a monopoly on action cams. You will have seen them before on the top of motorcycle helmets, etc... I got one so I could easily video my travel guides a few years ago.

Interesting video.

Toyota built in windshield mounts for a GoPro in Tacomas. My 2016 Tacoma 4x4 has one but I don't have a GoPro.

Thanks Alan!

You should get a GoPro! Then you could drive around doing Street timelapses and join Ben and I. :)

The GoPro would have been more interesting to me back when I was still doing track driving. Small video recorders back then were jpeg quality only. There were a few times that some guys put video recorders in my car for lapping sessions but the video quality isn't even close to what the GoPros can do.
