We continued up a bit higher past camp for new vistas of the Patagonian area. Then we bushwhacked up the side of a hill and settled in the brush and trees watching this scene unfold. Tough light, but it was still exciting to see this glacier create multiple intimate waterfalls that fed this alpine lake under the peaks.

This is really awesome Jeffrey. I like the feel of a storm from the clouds. That's cool how there are waterfalls coming off the glacier.

Is it legal to fly drones there? And if so, did you bring yours?

Alan, that is actually water from the lake becoming airborne from the severe winds. Had to hold my tripod down!

No drones allowed there. I knew that and didn't bring mine. But, oh the missed opportunities...

Wonderful, the wintery cold scene offset by the splash of color along the bottom of the frame. Very rugged area as I am sure almost anywhere off the beaten path is in that part of the Andes. Wondering what your altitude is at this location?
