Gabriela Mistral Mosaic in Ha

Full moon nights are great for testing. Friday night was spent trying out NINA's advanced sequencer. Quite impressive. Will have to use it more.
This is a mosaic of 4 panels of Gabriela Mistral consisting of 5 subs x 120s each per panel shot in Ha. Not much data but still a good result I think despite the moon.

Love the detail in this. It’s great that you can get detail despite a full moon. With my basic level gear, there is no way I can capture anything. Once the moon is brighter then 25% that’s it for me.

I am beginning to appreciate these mono views more and more as I grow In astrophotography.

Very nice result - always amazing to see what a Hα filter can do even under the moonlight. Another delectable Southern delight - are you going to add some other NB data to this at some point? Looks like a great image in any case.

Thanks Mike ! I just posted a single image (ie non-mosaic) of the head in NB and mapped to SHO that I took in late January
