Awesome work Kyle! It’s always cool when we can benefit from other light sources at night.

You really scored on this one.

Very nice
Thanks Ben

Delightful capture - good eye for the shot.
Thanks Alan - although I take limited credit. A few more details below...

Kyle, this looks like Olmsted Pt. Nicely seen. I was thinking it should be called "New arrival" :D
Thanks Dan - definitely Olmsted Point which is a wonderful place to shoot at night. That's a good name too.

And everybody else just hurried on by & missed it..... Good eye, Kyle!
So here's (to me) the funny thing. As the workshop leader (Michael Frye - I'm a huge fan) was leading us up the hill, he pointed out this rock and mentioned that it makes a great subject. We all proceeded to shoot a bunch of the trees up there and I eventually worked my way back down and set up for this rock (Michael said shoot it, so I'm shooting it). So not only did everyone else miss it, but it had been pointed out to them and they still missed it :). When reviewing our shots the next day Michael did note that he was glad someone shot it.

I was annoyed at first that I didn't get the shot before the lights appeared I quickly realized they were pretty cool.

Damn, that worked out well.. Nice work, Kyle!
Thanks a lot Jeffrey.

Michael Frye was who I took my first ever photography workshop with. I am also a fan. Keep wanting to go back for something else, but I'm never able to jump fast enough & his workshops fill up right away.
