The tree is 267 feet tall and has a circumference of 102 fest at ground level. It is estimated to be about 1650 years old. It is the second largest giant sequoia tree in the world after the General Sherman Tree also in the same area.
You are right Jameel, he stands out in a grove of very large trees! General Sherman is even larger, but more difficult to get a clean image because of all the trees and foliage around him.
