One of the major delights of a recent trip to Canada and the USA was the sightings of eagles on Vancouver Island. We were particularly lucky as the site we stayed in near Comox was visited daily by these noble birds.

Was using this eagle to check out my new 1.4 converter on 100-400 lens.

Thanks Jim and May. We were very lucky, as I say. We had a cabin on the beach (and were the only ones on site) so we had great views of the eagles flying in and perching on the tall trees.
