Gilded Leaf

Neat color glow and I like the detail in the leaf veins. This lens you used for this has a very pleasing bokeh.

I like #1 the best. What hurts that 2nd one is that OOF branch angling behind the leaf. In #1 you don't have that, so there is nothing to pull the eye away from the leaf.

Good work on both. I prefer #2 if they were mine I'd put some work into it: in ACR I would put some sharpening, clarity, and texture on the leaf, then paint another adjustment on the rest and subtract 100 sharpness, add some noise reduction, and take away clarity and texture. I often duplicate such an adjustment to blur the background even more. When open in PS I'd then work on getting rid of that offending branch Jim pointed out using auto-fill. A bit of a crop, loosing the brighter area in the bottom right corner might also strengthen it.
