My wife and I spent last week in San Francisco. The Santa Rosa wild fires started the evening of Sunday October 8th, the same day we arrived. Thoughts and prayers to all the people and families affected by the horrific fires.
I wanted to capture some scenes of the San Francisco skyline. One of the best places for those images is from the waterfront on Treasure Island. I went to Treasure Island for both sunrise and sunset one day. This image was taken on Thursday, October 12th at sunset. You can see the effects of all of the smoke that drifted down from the Santa Rosa fires by the dramatic colors at sunset. This is part of the Golden Gate Bridge span at sunset.
