Gondola Lagoon

Gondola Lagoon

Venice, Italy 02-18-2020

Incredible scenes are all around in Venice. Here the gondolas are waiting for the tourist rush hour.

Late afternoon light reflects off of the hotel on the far side of the lagoon.

There is a tourist rush hour? What is it that schedules the tourists like this? Inquiring minds want to know

I like the shot - all of the gondoliers in the scene and nary a ripple on the water around their boats. Nice shot.

Thanks Alan! Later I did see tourists lining up for a gondola ride. When I shot this image the guys did have time on their hands. I like how the one guy is taking a nap!
