Good Clouds in the Badlands

[Michael13]

The San Jose Badlands are one of many within the San Juan Basin in NW New Mexico. On this day, a fast moving thunderstorm blew through, briefly bringing a bit of moisture to the air, if not the ground.

That's super cool Michael! What a unique shape to that one, it looks like a pickle poking up.

Thanks Jim. These are the kinds of places I love most, especially when the clouds are in the mood!

I like your treatment of the skies with the darkness contrasting the clouds and badlands.

Very nice tones, Michael. I wouldn't call the left feature a pickle........more like phallic.......
I've only been to those badlands once. So many in that region.
