Good Times

Thanks Ben. It was nice that they were both just so focused on the food and each other.

I think it would have more character if the shadows were dialed down a bit, they seem too bright especially for such a bright day. Its also kind of too "centered" for some reason, I dunno, maybe if you cropped out just a little if would pop better... still a cool shot, you caught their expressions well.

Hmmm.... I think I just shoot different then you.

I know you darken the shadows a lot and use your limited DR shadows and keep them. For me, I pushed the shadows darker until I started to lose detail in the hair, etc. It was day time and these shadows are very realistic for what they actually looked like. In bright sunlight, the camera of course will shoot the shadows very dark so as to not blow the bright areas and have blown highlights.

One of these days I will find a scene where I can push to get that sharp Black contrast that you typically get...
