Very curious looking gull - not one I have seen before. Neat catch with the takeoff dash.

I have heard of this gull, and I think I have seen one of you guys post photos of it before? But it's for sure not a common gull, and I have never seen it in person in Southern California. So it's great to see it. Love the action in this.

Do you have more of it? It would be cool to see this guy from different angles.

Roger, nice ! I have only seen Bonapart's Gull in the South Bay once.
