Great Sand Dunes

I swing in there about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to test out my Astro Converted camera with the early season Milky Way, but also I wanted to get out to hike and photograph in the sand dunes there.

Here is one image. Avoiding foot prints in the sand was not easy, and in some of my images I just embraced the foot prints, but I think this one is pretty clear of visible prints.

Those are definitely some big ones. At least at web resolution I can't spot any footprints - nice find.

Thanks Alan. Yeah, you have to really zoom in to see a few footprints in this one. I have some others that I left that I will post later, and also have some closer images without footprints.
