Green lacewings are delicate insects that are harmless to people. However the adults love aphids.

The Green lacewing Larvae has a voracious appetite and he keeps the bodies of his kills on his back. Perhaps for camouflage

The adult is poorly photographed but he is interesting to see up close.

Fascinating sequence.- especially the shot of the larvae with the trophy count on its back. I had no idea the larvae would do something like that - easy to mistake it for an ambulating pile of clutter.
