I just reprocessed this old image. It is a 2 frame landscape pano of the Hackberry General Store on old highway, route 66. I processed in Color and monochrome (sepia). Which do you prefer! I lean toware the sepia version. ;)

Fun old panorama. I kind of lean towards the color with the bold reds of the old Mobil gas flying horse logo. Memories from the 1950's.

Hi Alan I also remember driving by sites like those while driving to Denver on family vacations in the mid 1950s and later driving with my twin brother to attend Denver University. We spent a lot of time on Route 66 in those days. This image and others taken on recent road trip from Los Angeles, did bring back a lot of memories! ;)

Sepia but I do like them both—the rust is better revealed in color!
Thanks John, I also like them both, but the sepia seems to render the feel of the old gas station. The color version depicts the scene more like I remember while driving on old Route 66 in the late 1950. ;)

You know what????

Try cutting the saturation on the color version by about 30 to 40%. I think that will give it an old time feel as well.
