Heading into a Storm

We were coming off Vail Pass heading back to Denver when we saw this large storm moving toward us. As you might suspect we were heading into an interesting drive home!

I love it. I miss thunderstorms living on the west side of the Cascades. We almost never get them out here.

Love those clouds Larry! My daughter is telling me about all of the storms they are getting in Greeley as a way to entice me to get back to Colorado.

Thank you for your comments John, appreciated! Those clouds really caught my attention as I came down the pass. There was a rest stop part way down the pass where I stopped and grabbed this composition.

I know what you mean about the lack of thunderhead clouds Alan, I grew up in Los Angeles and was exposed to large clouds during my college days at Denver University. We photographers really get spoiled out here!
