From a mid May visit to the Portland Japanese Garden with the azaleas in bloom at Heavenly Falls. The Rhodies are holding back still on this occasion.
C&C always welcome.
C&C always welcome.
Thanks Kurt - I have to confess that while I was glad to include all the azaleas I didn't intentionally seek out the diagonal and was mostly trying to frame the overhanging trees on the right.Nice composition with this one, Alan. The red flowers work out great as a diagonal.
Beautiful, Alan.
Thanks guys - as always the gardeners did all the work and I just stood there and took picturesAnother fine image from these gardens.
Thanks - the fact that you can dream about such a scene is a step up on us since azaleas don't naturally grow in our forests at allthis looks like a scene east coast photographers can only dream about in the appalachians. azaleas are a huge thing around here when they bloom, but good luck finding them in an environment like this. beautiful work!
Thanks Darcy!So very beautiful Alan!
