Helix nebula with the Seestar S50

Taken using the Seestar S50 over 5 nights

Light frames; 2856 × 10s, stacked in Pixinsight

I am pleased how this has turned out, particularly some of the detail radiating towards the centre of the nebula. Could these be part of the cometary knots? Probably wishful thinking on my part.

Are you using EQ mode? I would guess so.

Why are you using 10 sec subs? I am using 30 sec with mine in EQ mode. I feel like I might have asked that before, so forgive me if I did.

Thanks Jim, and yes I think you did ask me on my Andromeda image. No worries, I stick with 10s as I tend to see star elongation at 20 or 30s even in EQ mode, even though polar alignment is more or less spot on.

That's interesting, I wonder if you have some bad optics in that? I haven't noticed any star elongation in mine.
